Job Details Job Location: Century Chair Plant 3 - Hickory, NC Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Day Description Position Summary: This position is responsible for leading a team of employees in the upholstery manufacturing of high-end furniture. Essential Duties: Train and support upholstery team members in production of high-end upholstered furniture. Work with supervisors to complete work orders as assigned. Asist with upholstery repairs in all areas. Identify accuracy of production tickets with customers' orders. Ensure production requirements are met. Utilize computer to look up and make changes to orders, as assigned. Assist others with upholstering process. Must follow all safety policies and procedures. All other duties assigned. Qualifications Position Requirements: Must have experience with leading or directing the work of others. Experience with spring up and cushion fill (upholstery) processes. Ability to use various tools to manufacture high end upholstered furniture. Demonstrated skill in matching fabric, frames, etc Must be familiar with upholstery construction. Must be able to read and follow production tickets. Possess basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and work with multiple managers. Able to work in a high paced environment and be self-motivated. Must be able to use a computer to look up orders. Experience with quality upholstery furniture. Responsibilities
