Job Description

AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Lean Construction Manager for employment in Lima, Perú.

  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
  • Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • May have budget responsibilities.
  • Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual’s direction on a day-to-day focusing on applying Lean principles and practices to the construction process to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance value. Their scope of responsibilities includes:
  • Implementation of Lean Practices
  • Participation in Project Planning and Scheduling
  • Participation in Quality Assurance
  • Training and Development
  • Cross-Disciplinary Team Collaboration
  • Cost Control and Waste Reduction
  • Process Improvement and Innovation
  • Risk Management

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience desirable
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in Implementation of Lean Practices
