Siemens Energy in Tampa is looking for a Lean and Digitalization Expert in the field Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement to join our Blades and Vanes Division! This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency, elevating product quality, and spearheading innovative practices. You will support an enthusiastic team and work collaboratively across different departments to pinpoint improvement opportunities, apply industry-best practices, and nurture a culture of continuous enhancement, demonstrating your deep knowledge in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies combining with Digitalization solutions!

WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIREMENTS)

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing in the Power Generation or a related industry, with a substantial track record in leading and supporting Lean projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, TPM) and Six Sigma techniques (statistical analysis, experimental design, control charts), with experience in IoT tools (AWS, Grafana), programming languages, and automation projects using platforms like Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence partners at all organizational levels. Proven success in leading Lean and Six Sigma transformations and driving continuous improvement in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in developing and coordinating conceptual plans, budgets, and risk analyses, while overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on all phases of planning to ensure successful implementation within specified timelines and costs.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.   • Guide and mentor teams using Lean Six Sigma techniques to optimize processes, minimize waste, and enhance operational performance.
  • Apply Lean principles to improve key operational metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and quality, while implementing standardization, visual management, and error-proofing methods.
  • Drive the implementation of strategic digitalization initiatives, supporting IT/OT development and management to enhance efficiency and automation.
  • Partner with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to streamline processes, ensuring alignment with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Drive cultural transformation by using tools to engage all organizational levels and promote Lean adoption.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to track Lean and Six Sigma improvements while developing conceptual plans, budgets, and risk analyses to ensure successful project execution.
