WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering (specializing in production engineering) or similar
• At least three years of professional experience with lean methods & process optimization in production operations (VSM, CIP, 5S, JIT, SMED, TPM)
• Chemical-specific knowledge & compliance (REACH, CLP, ISO 9001, GMP, batch & continuous production) continuous production)
• Hands-on mentality and strong execution skills
• Data analysis & KPI (OEE, lead times etc)
• Social & leadership skills
• Digitalization & Industry 4.0 (digital lean tools, MES)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

• Introduction and further development of lean strategies (e.g. Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, SMED, TPM, value stream mapping) with implementation on shopfloor.
• Analysis and optimization of production & logistics processes with taking safety, quality & costs into account
• Identification of bottlenecks & waste (Muda, Muri, Mura) and development of suitable countermeasures
• Improvement of material flow & warehousing using lean principles
• Definition, monitoring and continuous improvement of relevant KPIs (e.g. OEE, throughput times, set-up times)
• Conducting value stream analyses & data analyses to identify optimization potentials
• Promoting a lean culture through regular training & workshops for managers & employees
• Management of Kaizen events & CIP initiatives to involve the workforce
• Support with digital transformation & Industry 4.0 projects (e.g. automation, predictive maintenance)
