What You’ll Do Lead the Charge: Champion lean principles across the facility, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Design for Success: Develop and implement systems that enable data-driven decisions and streamline workflows. Innovate on the Floor: Collaborate with engineers, managers, and operators to redesign layouts, improve processes, and boost productivity. Be the Expert: Deploy methodologies like SMED, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, Kaizen, and Pull Systems to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Solve Big Problems: Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to permanently resolve quality and productivity issues. Drive Culture Change: Mentor teams, influence positive change, and energize the organization toward lean thinking. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 2+ years of experience in lean manufacturing preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ERP systems, BOMs, and production routings. Lean Expertise: Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles. Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coach continuous improvement concepts. Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative, analytical, and innovative approach to complex challenges. Tech Savvy: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
