QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Lean principles or other continuous improvement methodologies preferable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field preferable
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced warehousing/logistics or manufacturing environment

ABOUT THE ROLE

Caterpillar of Australia currently has an opportunity for an energetic, passionate & committed Lean Operations Analyst to join the Queensland Distribution Centre (QDC) based in Yatala, QLD. This position supports continuous improvement and operational excellence by coordinating training, analysing data and dealer claims, administering lean programs and standards, and maintaining key information systems to enhance planning and performance across the facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Dealer Claims Analysis
  • Lean/CI Program Coordination and Training
  • Administration of Facility Improvement Projects & Hosting Kaizen events
  • Administration of Safe Job Procedures, Standard Work, and various facility audits
  • Associate Training and Development Coordination
  • Maintains SharePoint, Power BI & Information Repositories
  • Supports Operations with Planning & Calendars

KEY SKILLS REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
