Purpose:
A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a strategic leader responsible for driving process improvement, operational efficiency, and quality enhancement across an organization. This role is deeply rooted in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and involves leading complex projects, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence to achieve and contribute to the satisfaction and retention of the customers we serve, as well as contributing to and supporting the growth of the Ontario Medical Supply Inc. (OMS) line of business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma Projects: Drive initiatives that reduce defects, eliminate waste, and optimize processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and track project outcomes to ensure sustained improvements.
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical tools to identify root causes of inefficiencies and operational issues.
  • Facilitate Workshops: Conduct cross-functional meetings to brainstorm and implement improvement strategies.
  • Mentorship: Coach Green Belts and other team members in Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Training Development: Create and deliver training materials to build internal capability.
  • Change Management: Guide teams through organizational change and ensure alignment with strategic goal
