Description Location: Ansley Golf Club 196 Montgomery Ferry Dr | Atlanta, GA 30309 Job Summary: The Learn to Swim program at Ansley Golf Club is dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn to swim confidently while mastering proper technique. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learn to Swim Coach who will actively teach swimming skills to members aged 6 months and up, in both one-on-one and small group settings. The club will provide the schedule of lessons to you. We are looking for someone who will be willing to work during the week and have some weekend availability. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality swimming instruction to children of all ages and skill levels. - Develop individualized lesson plans that promote skill progression and confidence in the water. - Conduct both private and small group lessons, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. - Collaborate with the Director of Wellness & Aquatics to organize and implement group lesson schedules. - Monitor and evaluate each swimmer's progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. - Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere that fosters a love for swimming. Qualifications: - Prior experience teaching swimming, particularly in a Learn to Swim context, is a must. - Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and safety practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively with children and create a fun learning environment. - Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. Compensation: - This is a 1099 contract position. For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to assist in the fitness center, providing additional hours at an hourly rate to be determined based on experience and qualifications. The Club receives 25% of each lesson.
