Learn to Swim Lead | Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre Help us get "More Aucklanders more active, more often” Great development pathway and multiple opportunities within Auckland Council Permanent Part-time opportunity at Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre He angitūtanga: The opportunity As the Lead Learn to Swim, you’ll be playing a key part in ensuring a great customer experience for our customers when participating in our Learn to Swim programme and ensuring the development and delivery of programmes and services are maintained at an exceptional standard.  In this position, you’ll be conducting pool deck supervision, assisting with the inducting, training, and development of team members, and assisting the Team Leader Learn to Swim with rostering and lesson delivery. You’ll also support the day-to-day operational running of the Learn to Swim programme and provide great customer service and problem resolution for our customers. This is a permanent part-time, 30-hour position, working Tuesday to Saturday. Please note that the shift is subject to change according to the roster and the needs of the centre, so flexibility is essential.   He kōrero mōu: About you You’ll have a passion for motivating both your team members and our customers to enjoy and gain confidence in swimming. You’ll be committed to making the experience of working in and visiting our pools a great one for everyone involved. You should hold a recognised swim teacher qualification, and a First Aid certificate. You should also have at least 1 year of experience in delivering lessons across a range of ages and abilities.
