Description Project-Based | Remote with Some Travel | Consultant Paek Management Group is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to support project-based instructional design, content development, and LMS buildout across our carwash and multi-unit operations. This is an independent contractor role focused on creating high-quality digital training materials and learning assets. The ideal consultant has deep experience in instructional design, digital training development, and translating operational workflows into clear, effective learning content. Work will be structured around defined deliverables and milestones outlined in individual Statements of Work (SOWs). Project Responsibilities The Consultant will complete defined deliverables under individual Statements of Work (SOWs). Projects may include: Learning Platform Configuration & Digital Buildout Configure, structure, or optimize LMS environments for assigned projects Build/upload courses, modules, learning paths, and assessments Set up tagging, version control, reporting parameters, and content workflows Prepare digital assets to meet platform requirements (formatting, compression, accessibility) Instructional Design & Content Development Design and develop digital training assets, including: e-learning modules microlearning clips interactive scenarios animations, graphics, and other digital assets Produce clear written materials such as: job aids quick-reference guides process walkthroughs knowledge-base articles visual step-by-step instructions Apply adult learning principles to ensure content is accessible, structured, and easy to digest Operational Documentation & SOP Translation Convert operational procedures, workflows, and technical processes into structured training resources Develop SOPs, diagrams, and workflow visualizations based on SME input Standardize templates, naming conventions, and formatting for long-term consistency Program Architecture (Non-Delivery) Architect role-based curriculum pathways outlining required modules and learning sequence Define competency-aligned learning outcomes tailored to operational roles Map existing content to new structures and identify gaps for development No training facilitation, live instruction, or coaching included Project Documentation & Handover Prepare source files, templates, versioning logs, and documentation for internal teams Package digital assets in organized repositories (LMS or shared drives) Deliver final materials in agreed-upon formats for seamless internal deployment Example Deliverables Digital training modules (Articulate Rise/Storyline) SOPs, process maps, workflows Job aids, checklists, visual guides Learning paths and structured curricula Course shells and LMS configuration Video scripts, annotated outlines, storyboards Templates, style guides, and design standards Requirements Ideal Consultant Profile 5+ years in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or similar consulting work Strong proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Rise/Storyline required) Experience designing training for operational, field-based, or multi-unit environments Ability to translate complex processes into simple, visual, digestible content Strong technical skillset with LMS configuration, digital asset development, and workflow documentation Excellent communication and collaboration with SMEs and operational leaders Highly organized, project-oriented, and capable of managing multiple SOWs
