The Role The Learning and Performance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery, administration, and effectiveness of the organisation’s learning and performance programs. This role manages the learning and performance technology ecosystem, coordinates training activities, maintains accurate records, and supports the creation of high-quality learning and performance development materials. A key component of this role is exploring AI tools to streamline processes, enhance content creation, support learner experience, and improve overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, digitally and data confident and able to manage projects. Key Responsibilities: Support in the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences using various formats, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training. Optimise and curate Gravita’s Learning Management System (LMS) in partnership with Compliance to enable self-paced learning - maximise engagement with the platform. Support in the design and delivery of effective on-boarding programmes Support in the management and co-ordination of the performance development cycle, including support for goal setting, development planning and performance check-in’s, optimising the HRIS, Bob Talent module to enable this. Monitor and report on training metrics to assess the impact on employee performance and business results. Work with Compliance to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements for CPD. Assist facilitators, vendors, and internal trainers with materials and logistics. Create and update learning materials including: slide decks learner guides and job aids templates short e-learning modules (e.g., Articulate Rise) Use AI tools (e.g., generative AI for drafts, scripts, imagery, or quiz creation) to accelerate production while maintaining accuracy and tone. Support subject matter experts in transforming technical knowledge into clear, engaging content. Review content for quality, consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: Experience in a learning and development role, with a solid understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory and learning science Ability to design engaging learning using digital tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise, alongside video or animation platforms Familiarity with learning management systems and data-driven evaluation to assess impact and refine learning and performance interventions Experience conducting learning needs analysis and recommending solutions beyond training, including process, tools and ways of working Confident using AI tools to improve content creation, workflow efficiency and quality, with a strong commitment to responsible and accurate use Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and an understanding of project management fundamentals Your Career with Gravita When you join Gravita, we’ll support you on your own growth journey.
