THE OPPORTUNITY…

We’re seeking a strategic and passionate Learning and Development Lead to oversee, design and ensure successful delivery of all training initiatives across MiCare. Reporting to the General Manager, People Services, you’ll lead programs that support compliance, onboarding, induction, development and continuous learning, ensuring our staff are equipped to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
This is a key role influencing how we embed MiCare’s values, culture and commitment to excellence in the everyday experiences of our people.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee, design and coordinate the delivery of learning and development initiatives across all MiCare sites and locations across Queensland and Victoria, tailored for a variety of aged care and community care programs.
  • Design and oversee development, competencies and mandatory training programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Design, oversee and manage MiCare’s centralised training calendar, streamline the employee experience and induction requirements to support the employee experience.
  • Partner with leaders, and the HR team to identify capability gaps and implement tailored learning solutions.
  • Manage our Learning Management System (AusMed) and produce timely training reports
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, RTOs and stakeholders to enhance workforce skills
