We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative team. In this role, you will lead and develop a diverse group of Learning Facilitators (Trainers) and Instructional Designers in creating an environment where people feel valued and motivated to achieve their personal and professional goals. Together you will collaborate with various departments to understand business needs, translate these into learning solutions and help the team create and implement innovative solutions.
You will be based at the European headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and report to the Manager Applied Learning.
Within Applied Medical, this position has the internal job title of Associate Manager Applied Learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team, preferably in Learning and Development
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional setting
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • A deep understanding of Instructional Design and a commitment to continuous learnin
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with your team to set meaningful goals for learning solutions that align with our shared vision and values
  • Mentor and coach team members in their personal and career development
  • Work together to assign projects, clarify priorities, and ensure alignment across the team
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools and systems
  • Encourage and guide team members to make their performance more effective and to enhance their self-perception and problem-solving skills
  • Occasionally facilitate existing learning programs
