About the Role
Are you passionate about empowering people through learning? We’re seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead our full-cycle training and development initiatives. In this role, you’ll assess organizational training needs, design impactful learning experiences, and drive a culture of continuous growth and development. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our workplace culture and improving employee retention through effective onboarding and orientation programs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading training and development programs in a mid-sized organization.
  • Strong instructional design and training delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning technologies.
  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and apply learning analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
  • CPTM certification preferred.
  • Ability to complete train-the-trainer programs for CPR/BLS and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full training cycle: needs assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and quality/compliance teams to identify training needs.
  • Design and implement engaging training programs, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Serve as a key member of the Culture Steering Team, embedding desired culture patterns through staff development.
  • Build partnerships with educational institutions to support employee advancement.
  • Evaluate and select internal and external training resources.
  • Deliver training using diverse instructional methods to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) in partnership with IT.
  • Monitor training effectiveness using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide CPR, First Aid, and non-violent crisis intervention training.
  • Manage training budgets, schedules, and administrative tasks.
  • Lead and mentor the Staff Development Team.
