Description

Organisational Development Specialist

  • Osborne Park, WA, Australia, 6017
  • Permanent, Full time

Bring your energy. Build leadership capability. Make a real impact.

We are looking for an energetic, engaging and experienced Organisational Development Specialist to join our People team and play a key role in developing the capability of our leaders and people across our business.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves developing people, enjoys being in front of a room, connecting with people and seeing people have those lightbulb moments. You will spend a significant amount of time facilitating leadership and development programs, working directly with leaders and teams in bespoke workshops, and bringing learning to life across a complex mining and operational environment.

At the same time, this role requires someone who can operate beyond facilitation. You will be responsible for designing, developing and continuously improving leadership and capability programs that are practical and suited to the realities of both our business and industry.

We are looking for someone with high energy, strong presence and a natural ability to connect with people, combined with the experience in developing high-quality OD solutions from concept through to delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Facilitate engaging leadership and development programs for leaders across our organisation.
  • Work with frontline supervisors, operational leaders and senior leaders to build leadership capability.
  • Design and develop leadership programs that are practical, relevant and tailored to MinRes and our industry.
  • Create engaging workshops, activities, facilitator guides, participant resources and learning experiences.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand their challenges and translate those needs into practical solutions.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops, team development sessions and other capability initiatives.
  • Continuously improve our leadership programs using participant feedback, business insights and your own ideas.
  • Work closely with the broader People & Culture team on leadership, talent, culture and capability initiatives.
  • Travel to operational sites when required to deliver programs and connect with leaders where the work happens.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who brings energy, credibility and strong OD capability.

You'll probably be the person who naturally gets people talking in a workshop, can hold the attention of a room full of experienced operational leaders and genuinely enjoys helping people grow.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in organisational development, leadership development, learning & development or a similar field.
  • Strong experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
  • Strong program design capability, you can take an idea or capability need and turn it into a compelling leadership program.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to translate leadership concepts into practical behaviours and tools.
  • Experience working within Mining, construction and or heavy industry across geographically dispersed workforces.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources is desirable.

Why join MinRes:

You will have the opportunity to have real impact and collaborate with senior leaders across the business. On offer is a competitive salary, short term incentive program, employee share plan (MyShare), state of the art head office with restaurant, café, gym, creche, GP and day care, as well as wellbeing perks such as free health checks, salary-sacrifice options, and discounts on health insurance, travel and more.
