Job Summary The Learning & Development Specialist will lead in-person physical skills training sessions for all newly hired team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Facilitate physical skills training for CPR/FA/AED. * Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date training records. * Obtain or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. * Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for training events. * Work effectively as a team member with members of Area Management and the L&D team.  * Complete all other duties as assigned Education & Experience * High school diploma or equivalent  * Experience operating in a training role with hands on instructor experience  * One to three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred * Current American Red Cross CPR/FA/AED Instructor certification preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong presentation skills. * Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. * Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Physical Requirements * Ability to communicate with other people in-person, by telephone, and in writing * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Responsibilities
The specialist will lead in-person physical skills training, specifically CPR/FA/AED, for new hires. They are also responsible for maintaining training records and developing effective instructional materials.
