Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6-8 years in a role with focus on learning & development, or employer branding is required.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field is required.
  • Experience from International business environments is preferred.
  • Experience from delivering HR solutions in commercially driven organizations is preferred.
  • A passion for driving business results through effective people solutions is a must.
  • Language:
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluency in Norwegian is essential, as the role requires holding presentations to Norwegian-speaking students.

Responsibilities

Jotun’s global headquarters, Jotun A/S, has 1000 employees working in state-of-the-art facilities covering services from local factory operations at Vindal, to global product development in our new research and development center at Gimle. Covering all segments and all functions on all levels (group, global, regional, and local), Jotun A/S is one of the largest and most diverse companies in the Jotun Group.

Now, we are seeking to find the person to help us continue that, by ensuring that we effectively deliver the best learning and development initiatives for existing employees, and to brand the company as a great place to work for future prospective employees.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and employees from several different business units to understand both learning and branding needs, deliver great learning experiences internally, and communicate and spread the story about Jotun as a great place to work externally.
The position will report to the HR Director Norway and be located at Vindal in Sandefjord.

Learning and Development:

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping our digital and blended training initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing competence gaps and ensuring our training programs meet business needs.
  • Manage, deliver, and administrate local Academy programs, while also organizing and delivering other training programs and workshops as needed. You’ll implement innovative digital learning solutions and work closely with regional and global L&D resources to ensure a cohesive approach to learning and development.
  • Develop and maintain a cost-to-value perspective on our training portfolio, ensuring that our initiatives are both effective and efficient.

Employer Branding:

  • Manage Employer Branding in Norway by developing a local strategy. You will be planning and executing branding activities, as well as developing and making use of branding material to ensure that Jotun is a well-known and attractive employer.
  • Make yearly plans for Employer Branding activities and create exciting content for social media, internal communication channels, and create awareness about these initiatives internally in the organisation.
  • Select, coordinate, and participate at relevant career fairs and other employer branding venues in Norway.
  • Be the Project Manager for our Employee Engagement survey. This entails coordinating employee data, creating templates for presentations, conducting workshops with all management levels, and informing the entire organisation about the results.
