Responsibilities

The Organisational Development team now has a VPS4 Consultant role in the Organisational Development (OD) Unit within the Capability and HR Business Partnering Branch of the People Strategy & Operations (VPS) Division.

The OD Unit has the responsibility for designing and delivering the department’s people development, performance, culture and employee life-cycle initiatives such as:

  • lead the department’s corporate leadership and capability development programs aligned to DE’s Strategic intent, Strategic Plan, and Leadership Charter
  • lead initiatives to embed a culture of integrity and accountability aligned to the public sector values, across all areas of the department
  • provide strategic advice and support to the corporate areas of the department in organisational capability, culture, effectiveness
  • support best practice induction, performance management and recognition strategies and processes.
