The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

As a Learning and Organisational Development Consultant you will support the design and delivery of both learning and organisational initiatives across the department’s corporate staff including managing PDP cycle, LMS, vendor contracts and induction. Our team takes a flexible approach, with members contributing across a wide range of projects and initiatives within the broader team.

Working closely with the team, you will partner with senior consultants and stakeholders to identify organisational and learning needs to build the departments capability and drive continuous improvement. This may include:

  • Support the smooth delivery of programs by managing end-to-end logistics such as scheduling, enrolments, communications, technology and venues, and post-session evaluation.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure expectations, enquiries and delivery are well coordinated
  • Drive improvement projects that enhance the employee lifecycle experience and reporting processes.
  • Undertake administration tasks including executing communication plans, generating and sharing reports, processing invoices, coordinating procurement activities, and engaging with vendors.Develop and maintain intranet sites providing employees with easy self-service access to information.
