An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our growing Brickwork team as a Learning Assistant. The ideal person will be hard working, have Bricklaying skills and is looking for a career change. The role involves setting up the workshop, including preparing materials, managing and supervising our brickwork training workshop and supporting all brickwork students and apprentices with their practical activities.
The day-to-day duties include preparing training workstations, ordering brickwork supplies, putting mixes on, working with students, developing risk assessments/ safe systems of work and general workshop housekeeping.
This is a key role within the brickwork team and the successful person will have the opportunity to help prepare our students for their assessments and work closely with the brickwork team.
