Mō te tūranga | About the Role As a Learning Capability Manager, you will focus on growing our people capability to be customer-oriented and future ready through engaging learning solutions. Working with the wider Culture, Capability & Learning team, you will have the analytical skills to scope, design and implement technical learning solutions and frameworks specifically targeted at improving our people capability, customer outcomes and business performance. Your current or previous experience in Banking will be a huge advantage in this role. As a learning architect, you will take a Human Centred Design approach to drive and project manage the end-to-end development of learning as well as ensuring all learning aligns with Westpac NZ's vision and strategic priorities. You will use Agile methodologies and engage with stakeholders across the business to develop learning solutions ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory and policy requirements and standards. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? Essential: Experience working in large complex corporate organisations - Banking or Financial Services hugely advantageous. Ability to project manage multiple projects end-to-end whilst ensuring deliverables are met in a timely and cost efficient manner. Managing effective and sustainable business relationships in a fast paced and challenging environment. Experience in juggling multiple priorities for different customers and delivering through and with others. Strong experience in a similar role. Ability to work with subject matter experts to gather and write quality content, design and deliver effective learning solutions, including effective product learning. Demonstrable experience of the development of learning frameworks which have enabled the delivery of learning solutions across a variety of delivery channels. Strong commercial acumen with well-developed analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Strong relationship management, influencing and engagement skills, as you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple and often competing stakeholder priorities and requirements using influencing and negotiation skills to reach a consensus. Proven ability to deliver within short timeframes. Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Knowledge of adult learning principles, organisational learning strategy development, blended learning design and development and online resource development for maximum learner benefit. Preferred: Tertiary qualification in a relevant area, e.g., Business, Commerce, HR Management, Learning & Development, Adult Education. Banking or financial services business background and experience. Experience developing technical product learning, especially in business and consumer markets. Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technologies used for learning and development.
