The Capability and Learning Specialist - Workers Compensation, is responsible for the design and implementation of all capability and learning requirements across Workers Compensation. It establishes the annual learning and development plan with a focus on staff onboarding, customer service, leadership and technical expertise. The role engages internal and external experts as needed and optimises customer, people, risk and financial outcomes. This is a permanent full-time role based in Boorloo (Perth). What You'll Do • Design and maintain the Workers Compensation Learning and Development framework, which includes both Claims and Underwriting • Design and deliver the annual learning and development plan with a focus on staff onboarding, customer service, leadership and technical expertise • Lead the assessment and reassessment of business capability for planning and continuous improvement • Develop and maintain learning platforms, tools and resources for all programs, including the design and maintenance of the staff competency development framework • Lead projects and initiatives as needed. E.g. claim centre release training, road-shows, career and development activities, compliance training and staff surveys.
