Learning & Career Enablement helps employees build the skills, knowledge and experiences they need to grow in their careers and do their best work. We design and deliver programs that strengthen leadership capabilities, support professional development and foster a culture of continuous learning across the organization. The Learning & Career Enablement Intern will work alongside a team that develops training, onboarding experiences and career programs for employees across the company. You will gain exposure to how development programs come to life in a large, mission-driven organization and play a meaningful role in supporting initiatives that help individuals and teams thrive. You will report to the Head of Learning & Career Enablement. About Our Summer Internships The duration is 10 weeks, starting June 1, 2026. The rate of pay is $20.00 per hour. Interns work 35 hours per week. This is a hybrid role based in New York. Responsibilities Contribute to the planning and execution of learning and career development programs that help employees grow in their roles and careers. Support the company-wide onboarding experience by helping to welcome new employees and introduce them to our culture, mission and ways of working at The Times. Collect and analyze feedback data to help us understand what’s resonating, where employees need more support and where we can improve. Explore, test and propose AI and workflow tools that can make our processes more efficient and help teams work smarter. Help maintain and organize learning resources, guides and communication materials so that development opportunities are easy to find and use. Collaborate with teammates across Learning & Career Enablement and HR to support initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning, growth and connection.
