ABOUT GALLAGHER

Our purpose at Gallagher is ‘Protect what matters most’ and we live it every day, whether that’s protecting the world’s highest security environments or agricultural businesses, we care deeply about our people, their families, and our wider communities.

With operations in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and exports to over 160 countries, we’re proud to be unlocking globally focused career paths for New Zealand based candidates.
We’re painting the future of what’s possible. Come join us.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a creative and curious Content Creator to join our Global Training team. This role is all about helping us build engaging digital learning experiences that make complex ideas simple.
You don’t need to be an instructional design expert. What matters most is your ability to learn, collaborate, and contribute your strengths in one or more areas of our development process.

Depending on your skills and interests, you might be:

  • Breaking down technical information into clear, digestible chunks
  • Creating visuals, videos, or interactive elements to bring ideas to life
  • Writing copy that’s clear, accurate, and engaging
  • Working with subject matter experts to understand key concepts
  • Reviewing and refining content with constructive feedback
  • Learning new tools and techniques as you go

THE FIT

This role would suit someone earlier in their career, or with transferable skills from another field, who enjoys solving problems and making things better. You may have experience from study, a previous job, or even personal projects that involved writing, designing, editing, or explaining things clearly.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is curious, creative, and eager to learn
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully
  • Can focus on detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Enjoys working with others and sharing ideas
  • Welcomes feedback and adapts quickly

If you’ve used tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Canva, or Learning Management Systems - that’s great, but not essential. We’d love to see examples of your work, whether a project, portfolio piece, or something you’ve created for fun, to showcase your strengths.
