Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for leading learning initiatives, people and driving solutions to join us as a Learning Design Lead. Working collaboratively with the learning delivery team, our learning partners, and key stakeholders you will lead the design of learning solutions across the development lifecycle at BNZ. Ō Pūkenga | About You You’ll have people and design lead experience and a demonstrated understanding of what it means to be an authentic and positive leader. You will be able to show us your innovation and an ability to focus on solving problems by addressing core challenges. A forward thinker with a growth mindset you'll have extensive design experience with knowledge of performance consulting, and modern adult learning concepts and theories. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Support the National Manager, Enterprise Capability, Head of Capability, Inclusion & Planning and Learning Delivery Lead, as applicable with scope of work, project and resource planning. Assess the quality and effectiveness of learning solutions and support simplification initiatives. Lead a team cadence for maintenance and reviewing existing materials for compliance and provide feedback as applicable. Support learner enquiries, and plan and/or execute project items that result from enquiries. Lead and Support business-as-usual (BAU) activity within the Learning Design team. What skills and experience are required for this role? A demonstrated ability to lead people, and to use observation, feedback, and coaching to develop skills. Experience in human-centred design or design thinking practices. A proven track record of maintaining knowledge of modern learning techniques and incorporating new learning concepts where evidence supports. A proven ability to design and lead Capability design programmes. The ability to lead the development and customise activities that tightly map to the unique needs of learners (individuals, groups, teams) to ensure participant engagement and knowledge retention. 4 + year of experience in capability, learning or people & culture related roles is desirable. A formal qualification in adult learning, coaching or development. What is the team culture and environment like?
