ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Learning, Development and Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the learning and development function at YMCA St Paul’s Group. Your responsibilities will span across coordinating day-to-day activities, managing the live training calendar, and developing impactful staff engagement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning and Development Solutions: Create personalised learning and development programs. Track compliance training and identify specific needs for service areas.
Strategic Development: Work with HR, Area Managers, and Department Heads to create effective learning strategies to improve staff skills based on local business goals.
Change Management: Collaborate with the Head of OD to create learning interventions and communication tools for change management and cultural transformation.
Budget Management: Assist in managing the learning and development budget.
Induction and Compliance: Facilitate the corporate induction program for new staff and ensure compliance with staff probation and performance reviews.
Staff Communications and Engagement: Create staff updates, manage HR and learning sections on the intranet, and assist in staff engagement events and recognition programs.
Training Administration: Manage live training schedule, venue booking, attendee invitations, and training record maintenance.
Feedback and Evaluation: Collect and act on training feedback for continuous improvement.
Learning Management System: Administer and enhance the learning management system.
Financial Coordination: Process invoices, maintain budget logs, and liaise with the finance department for training-related expenses.
