JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Resourcing Apprentice to join our team and support the end-to-end recruitment process. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within talent acquisition and develop professional skills. You’ll work closely with our internal resourcing team, hiring managers and candidates to support with identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent into OCS.
Whilst you gain resourcing experience, you will also have the opportunity to study for a professional (Level 3) recruitment qualification. This apprenticeship aligns with Specialist in Talent Acquisition and Retention for In-House Recruiters (STAR).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am until 5:30pm.
Location: Ipswich, 5 days a week on site.
Duration of apprenticeship: Fixed Term Contract - 21 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse and confirm hiring needs with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Develop job adverts and marketing plans to promote vacancies effectively across various platforms.
  • Research and identify potential candidates that align with role requirements.
  • Reach out to prospective candidates to assess interest and suitability for current or future roles.
  • Prepare and present candidate profiles, including CVs, to hiring managers.
  • Gather and communicate feedback from hiring teams and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support and manage the selection process in line with organisational preferences and best practices.
  • Facilitate the offer process and ensure a smooth transition for successful candidates through to their start date.
  • Assist with onboarding and administrative tasks for new hires.
  • Maintain recruitment systems and ensure data is accurate and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Support the implementation of recruitment metrics and contribute to the overall resourcing strategy.
