We’re looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant, to design, deliver, and evaluate high impact learning solutions that build capability across our business. In this role, you’ll be a creative facilitator, designer and a trusted advisor to our business — supporting a culture where continuous development is part of who we are. We are looking for someone with broad experience, who wants to make at impact in this new role at Vanguard Investments Australia. What You’ll Do Needs Analysis & Strategy • Work closely with business leaders and HR partners to uncover capability gaps and future focused learning needs. • Shape strategic learning plans aligned to enterprise priorities and workforce development goals. Program Design & Delivery • Design and facilitate engaging learning experiences using blended methodologies—workshops, eLearning, simulations, and more. • Tailor programs for diverse audiences including crew, emerging leaders, and specialists. • Manage logistics from scheduling to materials and platform setup to ensure seamless delivery. Evaluation & Impact • Measure learning effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance data. • Provide insights and recommendations that continually lift the standard of our learning ecosystem. • Maintain accurate participation, outcome, and cost records. Stakeholder Engagement • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure learning is relevant and impactful. • Collaborate with external vendors and subject matter experts to source or cocreate exceptional content. Capability Building • Support the development of Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and coach leaders on embedding learning. • Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives such as leadership assessments, onboarding, and DEI learning pathways. What does it take Learning Design & Delivery Expertise – Skilled in instructional design, facilitation, blended learning methods and corporate program delivery, supported by experience with LMS and digital learning tools. Strategic & Analytical Capability – Able to conduct needs analysis, apply strategic thinking and use data and analytics to measure learning impact. Vendor management - Shape our learning ecosystem by curating and optimising strategic vendor partnerships that deliver agile, high‑impact development experiences. Influential Stakeholder Partnering – Strong relationship building, communication, and influencing skills with proven ability to engage leaders, HR partners and external providers. Leadership, Coaching & Change Delivery – Experience supporting capability development, coaching others and executing learning initiatives that enable change and operational excellence.
