Description
As a Learning & Development Executive, you’ll implement training and training systems framework as directed by your superior whilst maintaining good employee relations. You’ll also promote a positive team culture while ensuring our colleagues deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life. A little taste of your day-to-day Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: * Develop a complement of qualified departmental trainers * Establish a hotel system for generating training data and evaluating results. eg tracking and producing reports * Creating training materials and programmes to address the hotel business objectives * Monitor and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes * Keeping up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments and best practices * Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and facilitation of training programmes * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues. * Drive the hotel’s training and development framework, working with stakeholders to identify training needs. * Assist managers in developing work practices and standards aligned with OH&S policies. * Develop employees through coaching and development opportunities for future growth. * Liaise with educational institutions for trainees on work attachment programs. * Maintain up-to-date training resources and materials. * Conduct monthly trainee meetings to gather feedback on their training experience. * Implement initiatives to enhance team member motivation and guest experience. * Work with department managers to improve service standards and drive continuous improvement. * Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures. * Help create the Training department budget and plan funded programs.   What we need from you Ideally, you should have the following requirements and skills: * 2 years experience in training development and facilitation * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * ACTA /DACE / ACLP certification would be an advantage.   What We Offer We’ll reward all your hard work with a great salary and benefits – including a uniform, great room discount and superb training.
