Staffing & Human Resources Services
Founded in 2012 by Gavin Donnelly, Neilson Financial Services is a global life insurance distributor with locally based contact centres across the UK, Canada, and Australia. We're a dedicated distribution business with deep in-house capability across sales, marketing, product development, and support — partnering with trusted insurer and reinsurer partners for underwriting.
Our values are simple: Customer Focused — we earn our customers' loyalty by exceeding their expectations. Results Driven — we are passionate about results through hard work, continuous improvement, and a professional approach. Team Spirited — as individuals we are good, but as a team we are better.
Neilson is one of Australia's fastest-growing life insurance distributors. Since launching locally in late 2024, we've entered six new brands into the Australian and New Zealand funeral and life insurance markets and become the country's third largest direct distributor of life insurance. Globally, we've issued over 650,000 policies across the UK, Canada, and Australia and now New Zealand.
Every person who joins Neilson ANZ — whether they're selling life insurance, retaining customers, or supporting policyholders — comes through your program first.
This is a leadership role, not a training delivery role. You'll own the full onboarding and development journey for all new starters across the business including, but not limited to, sales and post-sales. From day-one induction through to the point where they're confident, compliant, and performing at the standard their team needs.
You'll be their first leader at Neilson. You'll run the induction, manage their ramp, build the capability frameworks, and work closely with department heads to make sure the people you develop are genuinely ready when they transition into their permanent teams.
You'll also own the ongoing development of our training programs — continuously improving content, identifying gaps, and making sure our people are equipped to deliver for customers in a regulated environment.
If a cohort performs, that's your program working. If they don't, you'll be the first person diagnosing why and fixing it.
If you are passionate about making a difference, you thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment and you want to be a part of a high performing team, we would love to hear from you!
