Here at Ausgrid, we’re working on a future that works for everyone. As a leader in energy distribution, we’re proud of the work we do, delivering safe and reliable electricity to more than 2 million homes and businesses – that’s over 4 million Australians relying on us every day.
We’re driven by our purpose to make electricity accessible for all, and it’s our people that bring this to life. As we continue to grow, we are in search of exceptional talent to help us achieve our goals. We’re working today for a sustainable, affordable tomorrow.
We are powered by diversity. Our customers come from all walks of life, and so do we! We are committed to creating a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workforce, and encourage applications from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disability, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Responsibilities

As an L&D Partner, you’ll work closely with the business to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence our people need to do their jobs safely, efficiently, and with pride. You will be right at the heart of shaping how we learn and grow at Ausgrid.

You’ll partner with stakeholders across the business to understand what’s needed and create learning that really hits the mark. Whether it’s designing a hands-on technical program or rolling out an engaging eLearning module, You will create a culture where continuous learning is owned by the business and championed by leaders - ensuring our training is practical, relevant, and keeps safety front and centre.

  • Be a true partner – Build strong relationships with leaders, listen to their needs, and co-create learning solutions that solve real problems.
  • Keep it practical and purpose-driven – Whether it’s a toolbox session or a formal program, your focus is on delivering practical, engaging learning that improves how we work and keeps our people safe.
  • Think big, act smart – You’ll have the freedom to be creative and proactive, but always with a clear line of sight to safety, compliance, and business outcomes.
  • Stay agile – That means looking ahead, adapting quickly, and designing learning for what’s coming next—not just what’s needed now.
  • Foster a learning culture – Help shape a workplace where learning happens every day, and where curiosity, confidence, and continuous improvement are encouraged.

Partner Focus Groups include (but are not limited to):
