Job Title: Learning Disabilities Support Worker
Location: Various locations throughout Yorkshire and Humberside:
Hull, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, York
Salary: Starting from £13.93 per hour + Holiday Pay
Employment Type: Temporary, various hours, day and night shifts available. Long term set rostered shifts are also available. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsership.

Role Overview: As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care plans, helping service users manage their mental health and achieve their personal goals. Your role will be pivotal in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, both in residential settings and within the community.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies, life skills, and accessing community resources.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
