At Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI), we build autonomous robotics solutions that operate in complex, real-world environments. As our technology evolves, so must the way our people learn. We are seeking an Instructional Design / Learning Technology Intern to support our Corporate Training team in building, improving, and scaling technical learning experiences. This internship is ideal for a senior-level student at Utah State University (USU) in an Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or closely related program who wants hands-on experience with production-level training content in a high-tech environment. This is not a shadowing role. You'll contribute directly to courses used by engineers, technicians, and business teams across ASI. What You'll Work On Course Conversion & Maintenance (Primary Focus) Convert existing LMS courses into SCORM-compliant packages using Articulate Storyline Retire legacy "Bridge" trainings and standardize content delivery Update and enhance existing courses for clarity, accuracy, and usability Content Development & Skill Growth Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture workflows and technical knowledge Build new onboarding and process-focused training modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline) Develop training content for: Software SOPs Training team procedures and best practices High-level business and operational processes Quality Assurance & Publishing Test SCORM packages for tracking, navigation, and LMS compatibility Apply accessibility and usability best practices Document publishing steps, version history, and updates What Success Looks Like Courses are converted, published, and functioning correctly in the LMS Training content is clean, consistent, and easy to follow SMEs trust the training team to translate their knowledge accurately Required Qualifications Ideally you are a student pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Technical Communication, or an engineering student with a passion for improving learning systems, or a closely related field Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM standards Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Understanding of learning principles or instructional design models, or willingness to learn Working knowledge of Articulate 360 (Storyline preferred) through coursework, projects, or internships Exposure to accessibility best practices (WCAG) Basic media editing experience (screen capture, audio, light video) You'll Do Well Here If You...
