Description
Manage the intake process for new Skill Up requests, coordinating with content owners and subject matter experts to schedule and promote upcoming sessions. Collaborate with instructional designers and pod members on learning needs analysis to identify critical skill gaps within the organization. Contribute to the analysis of learning program effectiveness, using data to inform future content development and program adjustments. Support the application of innovative instructional design principles in the development and delivery of learning experiences. Coordinate event logistics, including venue/platform selection, scheduling, speaker management, and attendee communications. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, IT, Communications, other Pods) and external vendors to ensure all event requirements are met within budget and timelines. Manage the procurement of event materials and services, adhering to company purchasing policies and utilizing corporate card processes when applicable. Provide on-site and virtual event support, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. Develop and distribute event-related communications, invitations, reminders, and post-event summaries. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, external partners, and vendors. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate event management, learning program coordination, or a similar role within a large organization. Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and reporting on virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. Experience with end-to-end management of learning programs, from scheduling to post-event analysis. Experience with event registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, or internal proprietary systems). Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to diverse audiences. Proactive problem-solver with a strong bias for action and ability to troubleshoot technical issues during live events. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Data-driven approach to evaluating program success and identifying areas for improvement. Ability to contribute to learning needs assessments and gap analysis efforts. Experience working in a large, global corporate environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based work environments. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. Certification in event management or project management.
