JOB SUMMARY:
Provides clinical information system (CIS) education and instruction including individual and group learning opportunities in support of the implementation of CST. Adapts, implements and evaluates education programs and resources using specialized theory and knowledge of generalized and specialized clinical or non-clinical practice as applicable, as well as teaching and learning principles and processes. Consults, confers and collaborates with educators and clinical / non-clinical program and team members in promotion of continuous quality improvement, resolution of education issues and coordination of activities required for progressive educational and clinical practice programs. Takes corrective action with respect to individual and group learning needs, escalates issues as necessary and communicates progress with team and Manager.
Practices in accordance with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC) standards (professional & practice) and code of ethics.
