Make your mark for patients 患者さんのためにあなたの力を発揮してください 担当領域:Rare Disease領域もしくはImmunology領域 The Learning and Development Manager (Japan) reports to the Head of Learning and Development Japan and supports this person in the management of locally specific Learning and Development programs with a clear focus on global standardized processes that fit business needs – including the right to operate locally. The role serves as the strategic Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for UCB's Learning organization, responsible for consulting with senior internal clients, including executive management and department heads, to design and execute learning strategies. The position entails delivering and adapting UCB's learning content to enhance individual performance and support the company's long-term strategy. The individual will lead high-level facilitation efforts, engaging senior leaders and stakeholders through face-to-face and virtual learning sessions to drive knowledge transfer and behavioral change. They will monitor and report on learning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory policies to provide innovative, cutting-edge learning experiences. Additionally, the role requires collecting and analyzing feedback to propose continuous improvements in learning delivery. As a trusted L&D partner, the individual will build strong relationships with internal clients, acting as the local ambassador for UCB’s global learning approach, and identifying business-specific learning needs. The role also involves managing end-to-end learning projects, collaborating with the global Learning Experience team to ensure alignment with UCB's strategic vision, and providing leadership in scaling projects and addressing operational challenges. Continuous improvement of local learning solutions through data-driven insights and collaboration with the TAD&L Operations & Technology team is a key responsibility. Major Accountabilities Serve as the strategic Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the business Dept, representing UCB's Learning organization. Take responsibility for consulting with and executing learning strategies for senior internal clients, including Leadership members and department heads. Strategically deliver and adapt UCB's learning content to provide learning experiences that enhance individual performance and contribute to UCB’s long-term strategy and outcomes. Lead advanced facilitation efforts, effectively engaging senior leadership and diverse business stakeholders in face-to-face and online (including live streaming) sessions to drive learning outcomes such as knowledge exchange and behavioral change. Monitor and report on learning activities throughout courses and modules, utilizing learning systems to track performance, participation, and feedback, ensuring alignment with business goals. Stay current on business trends, technological advancements, and regulatory policies, including guidelines from the Ministry of Health, Digital Agency, and Cabinet Office, ensuring UCB offers cutting-edge learning opportunities that meet industry standards. Collect and analyze feedback on learning experiences and outcomes, utilizing both internal and external insights to propose innovative solutions and continuously improve facilitation practices. Act as a trusted strategic L&D partner to senior management, building strong relationships, proactively identifying business needs, and demonstrating how learning solutions can best support them. Serve as the local ambassador of UCB’s global learning approach, keeping clients informed of the latest global learning solutions and their potential for customization. Lead the design, proposal, and execution of end-to-end learning experience projects, from initial needs assessments through to implementation, review, and ongoing improvement. Collaborate with the global Learning Experience team on project phases, contributing expert knowledge to learning needs assessments, project design, and ensuring solutions align with UCB's strategic vision during the pilot phase. Experience 3-5+ years’ experience in a facilitation role 2 years’ experience in Learning Partnering role Proven background in sales and disease state knowledge (e.g., For the disease areas in which UCB is involved) to align with UCBs current and future commercial business needs Proven experience working directly with and supporting internal business partners in Franchise Experience Medical and/or Marketing in Pharma is plus.
