Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With direction from the Senior Learning Designer ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality digital assets for use in OSU projects in collaboration with the OSU learning design and media teams and academic staff.
  • Creation and design of online course sites to be used in OSU projects and professional development programs utilising various software and online tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create style and consistency guides that encompass the branding requirements and design preferences of the OSU.
  • Proven ability to interpret course content and design interactive and engaging digital learning assets.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple projects and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Multimedia specialist:
  • Design and produce a broad range of multimedia artefacts, including infographics, icons, and visual explainers.
  • Create motion graphics and short-form animations, as well as digital interactives and web-optimised learning media.
  • Develop instructional content for learner engagement and apply principles of inclusive design and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Additionally, you will also have a proven ability to interpret course content and design interactive and engaging learning that connects to existing learning outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a relevant degree qualification or directly applicable work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training with proven creative design experience or qualifications.
  • Applicants with experience in using AI tool for creation of student activities and/or videography experience are particularly welcome, but not essential
