REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: In-school or nursery experience in the UK is essential.
  • Qualifications: Level 2+ Teaching Assistant or relevant transferable skills e.g Support/Social Work
  • Availability: At least two days per week for part-time roles; five days a week for full-time availability.

SKILLS:

  • Strong written and spoken English with a solid foundation in maths.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Personable qualities that foster positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Behaviour management skills are highly valued.
    Education Background: Graduates in education, humanities, psychology, or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
    Driving Licence: Highly preferred for flexibility to commute within 30 minutes by car or up to one hour via public transport.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking proactive and dedicated teaching assistants for full-time roles in schools across Bristol. You will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and wellbeing, working in both mainstream and SEND environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide personalised support to students, including those with SEND.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management.
  • Adapt quickly to new school settings and routines.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Deliver personal care and tailored support where necessary.
