YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, presenting, and interpreting data to support business decision-making processes. This role is crucial in driving business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data integration initiatives. The analyst will also be involved in numerous traditional report development projects using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
The BI Analyst role will be part of the Learning Technology& Analytics team, leading the design, implementation, quality control, and continuous improvement of reports and dashboards used across Learning Services and the broader OpenText communities.
This role will be instrumental in executing our data and analytics strategy. A significant focus will be on data quality control as information from existing systems flow into our comprehensive data platform. From there, the BI Analyst will creatively employ reporting technologies to (a) understand learning audience behavior and (b) extract key insights and KPIs for business success.
You think globally, are an innovator, strategist and executor. If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges in the areas of corporate training, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, working in a fast-paced high-growth environment, and are an excellent communicator who can convey complex technical concepts in plain English, this role is for you.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Vertica, or QlikView.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
