Description St. Louis Catholic School is seeking a Full-Time Learning Specialist to support students in 5th and 6th grade who have diagnosed learning differences as well as those who benefit from enrichment and accelerated instruction. The Learning Specialist works collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure students receive the differentiated instruction and support needed for academic success. Requirements Key Responsibilities Partner with teachers and school support staff to provide targeted academic support. Use assessment data, including NWEA MAP, to help guide instruction and differentiation. Assist teachers in creating and implementing small-group instruction aligned to student skill levels. Support students with diagnosed learning differences and help implement appropriate strategies and accommodations. Facilitate communication among teachers, parents, and administrators to support student progress. Qualifications Active Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with students with dyslexia, learning differences, ADHD, or other health impairments. Experience creating differentiated instruction for varied learning levels. Experience analyzing and using student assessment data to inform instruction. Orton-Gillingham or SMILA training preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
