San Diego Jewish Academy is seeking a credentialed, part-time Learning Specialist (50% FTE) to provide targeted academic support and differentiated instruction to students with learning differences in our Lower School (grades K-5). This position collaborates closely with classroom teachers, families, Learning Center Director, and support staff to ensure all students can access and succeed in the general education curriculum.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching credential (mild/moderate or equivalent)
• Experience working with students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, and executive functioning challenges
• Familiarity with assessment and progress monitoring tools (e.g., DIBELS)
• A collaborative and flexible mindset, with a commitment to supporting students in a pluralistic, values-based educational environment
