We are seeking a Learning Strategist & Instructional Designer to lead the learning workstream for a large workforce technology transformation. This role will shape the learning strategy, develop role specific training content, and support implementation activities that equip employees for success. Work will span all phases of the program—including Assess (50%), Design (50%), Implement (80–100%), and Sustain (50%)—with flexibility based on project needs. In this role, you will: Serve as the primary learning lead for a major system transformation, guiding strategy, design, and execution Bring 10+ years of experience in learning strategy, instructional design, or training leadership; UKG experience strongly preferred Develop a comprehensive, scalable learning strategy aligned with program goals, end user needs, and change management plans Assess role-based learning requirements and define tailored learning paths for diverse stakeholder groups Design and develop learning assets such as instructor-led training, eLearning modules, simulations, job aids, and quick-reference guides Partner with change management and communications teams to ensure alignment across all employee-facing materials Lead training execution during implementation, including coordination, scheduling, delivery readiness, and feedback collection Monitor and analyze learning effectiveness and adoption metrics, refining materials based on insights Support sustainment activities, ensuring employees continue to receive the resources and reinforcement needed for long-term success Contribute to driving organizational readiness, user adoption, and behavioral change throughout the transformation lifecycle Who You Are: A seasoned learning professional with 10+ years in learning strategy, instructional design, workforce training, or related disciplines Experienced in large-scale learning initiatives, preferably supporting UKG or similar workforce management technology implementations Strong in instructional design methodologies and adept at simplifying complex processes for diverse audiences Skilled in designing clear, engaging content using multiple modalities (ILT, eLearning, blended learning, performance support tools) Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and shifting priorities Collaborative and relationship-driven, able to partner effectively with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams Detail oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality materials and learning experiences Passionate about helping employees build confidence and competence during periods of significant change A natural fit with Centric Consulting’s values—integrity, inclusivity, innovation, partnership, and accountability Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field required Master’s degree preferred (e.g., M.Ed., MS Instructional Design, MSOD, or equivalent) Certifications in instructional design, adult learning, or learning technologies (ATD, CPTD, CTT+, etc.) are a plus Total Rewards: We proudly offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive and well-rounded benefits package for full-time employees that have been designed to nourish your well-being, such as health coverage, wellness programs, 401K company match, self-managed PTO, and other unique incentives that celebrate your accomplishments.
