Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce the opening for a Learning Support Assistant (Co-Teacher) at GEMS British International School AlRehab This role is perfect for a passionate educator looking to contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment, assisting in the education of students with diverse needs alongside a lead teacher. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans and adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all students. Provide individualized support to students, fostering their academic and social growth within the classroom. Help in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Encourage and support students in group activities, promoting teamwork and positive peer relationships. Assist in classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance knowledge and instructional skills. A relevant qualification in Education or Child Development. Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable. Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively support the lead teacher and engage with students. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students overcome their learning challenges. Ability to remain organized and adaptable in a dynamic classroom environment.
