Egypt Education Platform is seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at GEMS British International School of Madinaty. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping to create an inclusive and enriching educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and small group support to students with additional learning needs, under the guidance of the classroom teacher. Assist in the implementation of personalized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student’s requirements. Help students develop social skills and independence, encouraging their participation in classroom activities. Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the classroom teacher on learning outcomes and behaviors. Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. Assist with the preparation and organization of learning resources and classroom materials. Maintain a positive and structured learning environment, adapting activities to meet the needs of all students. Relevant qualifications in Education, Special Education, or Child Development. Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a primary/secondary school setting. Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and collaborate with staff and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying classroom situations. Commitment to fostering an inclusive education environment for all learners.
