Justteachers require an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to work within one of our partner Secondary Schools located in the Grimsby area.
This role will be full-time on a long-term basis and is to start as soon as possible. There is a potential that the role will become permanent for the right person.
The school services pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds and as such offers an inclusive and welcoming learning environment. The Senior Leadership Team are supportive and encourage career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the students in a range of subjects
  • Offering behaviour support where required
  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Support students with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of small group interventions

Pre-requisites:

  • Previous experience working in a UK secondary school is essential
  • Two education or school-based references
  • A positive and resilient attitude with the ability to engage with pupils and make an immediate impact on the pupils’ learning
  • Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum, classroom dynamics and the ability to work using your initiative to support the teacher
  • Experience or knowledge of SEN is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £89.00-£105.00 per day
