SKILLS

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them with tasks and promoting their independence.
  • Monitor student progress and behaviour, offering feedback to teachers regarding any concerns or achievements.
  • Help create a positive learning environment by encouraging participation and engagement from all students.
  • Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs) and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
