Learning Support Assistant with Midday Assistant (MA) Fixed Term to 31st August 2026 Closing Date: 9am Friday 24th April 2026 Interview Date(s): Tuesday 28th April 2026 Job Start Date: Monday 1st June 2026 (or sooner by agreement) Salary: LSA Pay Band 3, £24,796 to £24,201 Full Time Equivalent MA Pay Band 1, £24,310 to £24,413 Full Time Equivalent Contract: Fixed Term to 31st August 2026 (Term Time Only) Hours of Work: LSA 16.25 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.45am to 12pm MA 5 hours per week Monday to Friday 12pm to 1pm Solent Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our energetic and dedicated team in a warm, friendly and inclusive school community which is committed to the care of our children and staff. You will be principally responsible for supporting learners in the class.Training and support will be provided. Responsibilities

The role involves supporting learners within the classroom environment and assisting with midday supervision duties. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure the progress and wellbeing of all children.
