Responsibilities

A local private special school (ages 4 to 16) located near Exeter is looking for Teaching Assistants across all year groups. The school is an SEMH specialist, so provides expert support to children across a variety of severe and complex needs, including those that are non-verbal.
This specialist school will provide you with excellent opportunities for professional development, and you will learn and progress quickly. Pay starts at £100 a day and they offer temp to perm contracts for successful applicants. They are looking for full-time staff, and there’s a real culture of excellence and ambition to achieve the best results for the children. Hours are 8.30am-4:30pm.
This role is very active, so they are looking for really passionate, motivated and enthusiastic TA’s who have a can-do attitude and will go above and beyond for the children. Experience is by no means required, so this is a great opportunity if you’re looking to kick start a career in special education or just develop your existing skills further.
