LEASE ADMINISTRATION AND COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR JOB OVERVIEW

TF Cornerstone is seeking a Lease Administration and Collections Coordinator to join our Commercial Leasing team. This role supports a portfolio of retail and industrial properties across New York City and plays a critical part in lease data management, billing accuracy, and collections processes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and lookups), Word, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with MRI and Nexus is a plus

Responsibilities

Lease Administration
Abstract lease agreements and amendments; maintain data accuracy in MRI
Coordinate lease commencements, terminations, and billing setup
Process recurring charges, billbacks, and credits
Track critical dates, notice periods, and guarantor obligations
Audit leases and support annual budgeting
Prepare lease-related documents such as estoppels, SNDAs, and TI reimbursements
Maintain tenant records and assist with portal access
Collections
Monitor tenant accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
Apply payments, credits, and late fees in accordance with lease terms
Prepare and distribute bi-weekly delinquency reports
Communicate with tenants to resolve billing issues and disputes
Draft default letters and manage security deposit returns
Support collections across additional asset classes when needed
