RESPONSIBILITIES
The EMEA Lease delivery organization, DC Construction Build Management (DCBM), consists of the Data Centre Integration (DCI) and Lease Construction Management (LCM) teams.
The DCI team is responsible for DC IT Fit works and the LCM team for Lease Construction Delivery oversight. LCM work with Lease Providers and internal stakeholders in ensuring that Lease Providers set up and safely manage project delivery to the agreed contracted Lease delivery or Ready For Service (RFS) date.
As we rapidly expand in existing countries and into new geographies in EMEA, we are seeking a Lease Construction Program Manager to support projects in Italy and throughout Region, and represent as required, the EMEA DCBM Regional Director and Sub- Regional Lead with overseeing Lease Providers in their planning and safe construction of Contracted Data Centres lease capacity, including strategies and initiatives to drive Safety, Schedule and Quality KPIs, interactions with the Lessor and vendor SL Teams and business reporting.
They need to have strong interpersonal, communication, planning and organisational skills, strong business acumen and the ability to self-direct in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects.
This individual will need to demonstrate a strong background in DC or industrial facilities delivery (50+MW IT Load, and/or 70M+$) across a number of countries, preferably in EMEA. They will need to have had relevant onsite construction management experience and have a Construction Management, Architectural or MEP background.
They will be accountable for assessing the Lessor construction capabilities, overseeing construction delivery, managing risk and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure safe delivery to the agreed RFS dates.
They will support by ensuring Lessors are set up for successful and safe project construction delivery, issue mitigation planning and escalation, be a relentless driver of our safety culture and contractual requirements and drive Lease Providers with process and organisational development required to meet planned growth and lessons learned.
Drives data centre lease construction activities on local/campus projects and provides key input on all data centre related activities, leveraging experiences and technical knowledge to ensure sound and data-driven decisions.
