Description Position Summary The Lease Operator I is responsible for safe and efficient, daily operations of our natural gas system. This is an entry-level position which will receive training to perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and equipment startup. Responsibilities: Travel to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e., gauges, fluids, pressures, production, etc., in an accurate and consistent manner Inspect locations for any leaks, spills, and recognize any potential issues. Contact immediate supervisor with any relevant issues, or significant production loss in a timely manner. Once fully trained, this position will troubleshoot, repair and correct issues as necessary. Record and process all paper work, inspections, time cards, and expense reports in a timely manner. Requirements Competent with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Express. Oilfield experience is a plus but not required Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools. Must have valid driver’s license. A steady work history and strong work-ethic Goal driven/forward thinking Ability to learn and retain task knowledge Physical Demands and Exposures: Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected. Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection Prolonged sitting, standing, walking Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to individually lift: Maximum 100 lbs. Possible exposures to gas/ liquid hydrocarbons and salt water.
